Four million meth pills seized from Burmese monk’s monastery stash

The last ice bender (for this monk, at least)

Myanmar police have this week seized over four million methamphetamine pills from a Buddhist monk, who was stashing them at his monastery.

The monk was first caught with 400,000 pills in his car while he was driving near Maungdaw in the country’s west, reports AFP.

The cops then raided his monastery and found the haul – reportedly totalling 4.2 million pills, local police chief Kyaw Mya Win said.

Forget about the last air bender, this certainly looks like the last ice bender (at least, for this monk).
