Buderim MP Steve Dickson AKA Stevo Dicko has called for medical cannabis to be grown on the Sunshine Coast.
“I believe the Sunshine Coast provides the perfect environmental conditions to be a leader in growing and manufacturing medicinal cannabis in Australia,” he today wrote in an opinion piece for the Sunshine Coast Daily.
“”I would like to see it grown on the Sunshine Coast by an Australian company.”
He also took aim at the Queensland Government for prioritising “its investigation of options” around the cultivation of cannabis, rather than “timely access”.
