A fugitive drug dealer has told a Nine News reporter that was hounding him he had been “just been chilling” while on the run for nearly a year.
Piet Luan Ta, known as Bruce, was convicted of drug trafficking over a 2013 raid. He was granted bail but skipped his July 2016 sentencing date, and had been evading the cops since… until last Friday.
Unfortunately for Ta, the authorities had no chill, listing him as one of Australia’s 19 most wanted criminals in a national Crime Stoppers campaign last year.
He was arrested at luxury Melbourne hotel The Olsen, and has been extradited to Queensland, where he was facing charges.
