Suppliers of medical cannabis in Queensland will see no amnesty from the government, Malcolm Turnbull has said, ignoring calls from everyone’s favourite racist, Pauline Hanson.

Any amnesty on cannabis suppliers would be “irresponsible”, Turnbull told Associated Press, saying growers and sellers would simply have to wait for the incoming government scheme.

“The Department of Health is concerned that patients are treating themselves with a powerful medicine sourced from the illicit market,” he said.

“There are no controls over the safety and quality of medicines bought in this way.”
